Coffee trees carry white blossoms scented like jasmine that
last about three days, and six to nine months later the tree’s fruit,
called cherries, appear. The cherries begin as berries, which ripen
from green to yellow to red.

Coffee trees ideally grow in temperatures that range from 68¾ to 75¾ F,require shade for protection from excessive sunlight, need well drained and rich soil, and 60 to 80 inches of annual rainfall.
High altitude grown beans mature at a slower pace developing into
denser and more flavorful beans and, hand picking the beans is extremely important because the cherries ripen at different times , and only the ripe, red ones will produce a superb coffee bean.

only hand picking the cherries will assure that under and over ripe cherries are not selected.

We love our coffee and we thinks it’s the best in the area. Every drink Baked & Wired serves, hot or cold, is only prepared with the best and freshest beans available.
